JOURNAL ENTRY

6 Mar

I finally settled-in with a few good books after having a slight reader’s block – what’s up with that? ….. Anyway, I even had a master plan: reread some of the old classics; venture into new territory; and scope out some of the new releases. BUT THEN, yesterday morning I received an email from “The Universe” – and my master plan made a break for it!

THE EARTHSEA TRILOGY
By
Ursula K. Le Guin

.

.

Excuse me but, have I been living on another Planet ? Not only have I never heard of Le Guin but how does a Wordman not know about these particular dragons and wizards?

Onward …..
to the buy.
Thanks Emily!

I’m so happy to hear this! I hope you enjoy the Earthsea books, and Mrs. Le Guin. If you like them and want to read more of her work, I also highly recommend The Left Hand of Darkness.

    Happy reading!

Looking forward to this quest ….. I’ll check-out The Left Hand of Darkness. Thanks.

Yes, that reader’s block! Happens every now and then…glad you got your groove back 😉

Thanks Verity. I was beginning to hyperventilate at the mere thought of not getting my nightly ‘fix’ back, or as you so eloquently put it, my ‘groove’. Glad that’s over!
