I’m not quite sure about wordpress yet. I’m still trying to navigate through the system, and so far I haven’t had any luck figuring out how to surf through it with ease. I suppose I was stuck in a rut in that other blog. It was easy, comfortable, secure. I knew where everything was and how it all worked even though, after four years, the spark within my brain’s electrical system, the area where blog postings are formed, needed a jump-start every now and again.

Yeah, maybe that was the problem ……… no, that wasn’t it at all. I left because I was stung and I fell to my knees. I needed a new start. Someplace where they couldn’t find me. So, I packed my blog-bag with what was important to me, and have come here.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to find a fresh comfort in this new place. Interesting how I allowed someone else to gauge my worth.

Welcome to the club. I’ve been allowing others to gauge my worth my whole life. This is not a good club to be in so I’ll kick you out immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I’ll grab a hold of your jacket and get pulled out myself. This could be the start of a new beginning…YAY!!!!!!!!

The Whisper of God

Years ago, I started writing down all the amazing ways God used my day-to-day activities, children, family, and nature to teach me. The more I wrote, the more I noticed our extraordinary God in my everyday ordinary life. It became an exercise of the heart and grew my relationship with Christ in a way I had never experienced. Opening up the Bible daily drew me into His will and wonderful ways. He was no longer a friend of a friend, but my personal friend. I began to hear God whisper His desires and lessons for me. Now, my goal is to encourage women to stop and listen for His whisper in their lives by sharing what God has taught me through my Bible Studies and devotionals.
